What Is Remedial Teaching?

Remedial teaching is a specialized form of educational support that targets specific academic difficulties faced by children. It is not a repetition of classroom lessons, but a focused intervention that addresses the root causes of learning gaps—be it difficulty in reading, writing, comprehension, or arithmetic.

We use structured, multi-sensory teaching approaches to help students:

• Improve reading fluency and comprehension

• Strengthen spelling and vocabulary

• Enhance writing organization and grammar

• Build math concepts and number sense

• Improve memory, attention, and problem-solving

• Develop study habits and academic confidence

Each remedial plan is tailored based on a detailed assessment of the child’s needs and learning style.

• Show consistent difficulty in reading, writing, or math

• Have been diagnosed with Learning Disabilities such as:
